Paul Smith Library of Southern York County received status as a Gold Star Library in December 2019.
The Pennsylvania Library Association has named Paul Smith Library a Gold Star Library! According to Christi Buker, PALA Executive Director, the PA Forward Star Library program recognizes libraries who clearly demonstrate the integration of PA Forward’s five key literacies- Basic, Civic & Social, Financial, Health, and Information- into library programming.

Paul Smith Library is one of 130 libraries across the state who have achieved Gold Star recognition.
