Bilingual Program Aide

York City – Family Literacy Program

The Bilingual Program Aide will be responsible for the day to day functions of the Program within the classrooms.

 

 

Children’s Library Assistant

York City – Martin Library

The Library Assistant will provide assistance to a diverse population of patrons in using library resources. The Library Assistant will also assist in the day-to-day functions of the Children’s Room – checking in/out materials, shelving books, opening/closing duties, creating/updating patron records, etc.

 

 

Early Childhood Aide

York City – Family Literacy Program

The Early Childhood Aide will be responsible for the day to day functions of the Program in the Preschool Classroom within our Family Literacy Program located at the Edgar Fahs Smith (STEAM) Academy.

 

 

Information Services Library Assistant

York City – Martin Library

The Library Assistant will provide assistance to a diverse population of customers in using library resources. Assistance is given to customers in person, via phone, and via email. These resources include, but are not limited to: printed materials, digital media, online databases, internet searches, faxing, copying, and printing. The Library Assistant will also assist in the day-to-day functions of the Information Services department – checking in/out materials, shelving books, opening/closing duties, creating/updating patron records, etc.

 

 

Literacy Interventionist

York City – York City School District

The Literacy Interventionist works with k- 3 grade students in small groups or one-on-one to improve their reading, writing and math skills. The goal is to help those struggling below their grade level to increase their literacy to grade level or above.

 

 

Main Desk Library Assistant

York City – Martin Library

Under direct supervision of the library director, the Library Assistant will provide assistance to a diverse population of Patrons in using library resources. Assistance is given to Patrons in person, via phone, and via email. These resources include, but are not limited to: printed materials, digital media, online databases, internet searches, faxing, copying, and printing. The Library Assistant will also assist in the day-to-day functions of the Library – checking in/out materials, shelving books, opening/closing duties, creating/updating member records, etc.

 

 

School Library Aide – Alternate

York City – York City School District

Must enjoy working in a multicultural work environment, in particular interacting and encouraging children to succeed.  This position requires someone with excellent communication skills and the ability to lead groups of children.  It is important that the candidate be dependable, a self-starter, creative, and feel comfortable handling a variety of tasks.
