Early Childhood Aide

York City – Family Literacy Program

The Early Childhood Aide will be responsible for the day to day functions of the Program in the Infant Room. Candidate must enjoy being a team player and providing excellent care and service to a diverse population.  This position requires someone who has strong communication skills and is attentive to the needs of the students, families, and the program itself.  It is important that the candidate be dependable and maintains a positive attitude.

 

 

Information Services Library Assistant (1)

York City – Martin Library

The Library Assistant will provide assistance to a diverse population of customers in using library resources. Assistance is given to customers in person, via phone, and via email. These resources include, but are not limited to: printed materials, digital media, online databases, internet searches, faxing, copying, and printing. The Library Assistant will also assist in the day-to-day functions of the Information Services department – checking in/out materials, shelving books, opening/closing duties, creating/updating patron records, etc.

Library Assistant – Teen

York City – Martin Library

Under the supervision of the Manager of Teen Services, the Library Assistant will provide assistance to a diverse population of members in using library resources. The Library Assistant will primarily be involved in the day-to-day functions of the Teen Forum, greeting members in the Teen Forum; assisting students in use of library resources as well as implementing STEM learning experiences that foster creativity, innovation and self-expression.
