Due to the Pandemic, some of our library services are not currently available. Please visit our COVID-19 Reopening page for details.Located at the corner of Market and Queen Streets since 1935, this city landmark has three levels of collection, program, and gathering spaces. Here, you can find the largest collection of books in York County, research expertise, over 70 computers, and learning experiences for all ages. Programs in our Children’s Library meet state standards for early childhood education and support students' individual growth. The Teen Forum provides a space for teens to have fun, explore opportunities, discuss important issues, and construct their futures. Stop by, enjoy the experience, and create new possibilities at Martin Library!
We're Open for Browsing & Quick Pickup
Come visit us and refresh your reading supply! Rather than our traditional “sit and read” library setting, it is a renewed “browse and go” experience. This is part of our current reopening phase and the extra measures we’re taking to provide you with a safe and healthy library environment.
