A North York County Treasure!

Our friendly staff share fun and educational programs for everyone in the family—from early learning to history to live music, our dynamic roster of events and programs is sure to interest our visitors. We offer a separate children’s area for families to enjoy; a meeting room available for booking; public computers & Wi-Fi access; and printing, copying, and fax services (fees apply), all supplied by helpful staff. Parking is never a problem with our spacious attached lot, and our collection of over 30,000 items is sure to have something for everyone to discover. Our Jordan Richardson Reading Garden offers a quiet outdoor space to enjoy a book or come inside for comfortable seating.

Dillsburg Happenings - September 2026

Our Fall Used Book Sale is back from September 19 through September 26, kicking off early at 9:00 AM on opening Saturday and wrapping up with our $5 Fill-a-Bag Day on September 26! We are accepting gently used donations through September 12 to stock the tables.

You also won't want to miss our final Summer Lawn Concert of the year on Friday, September 11, featuring live music from Hopeless Semantics and delicious local food trucks right across the street. Best of all, our weekly preschool, baby, and toddler story times return starting mid-month!

(Friendly reminder: We will be closed on Monday, September 7, for Labor Day.)
