Leadership at York County Libraries

York County Libraries’ mission is to strengthen the York County community and enrich individual lives. In support of our mission and purpose, our organization is led by a group of visionary community leaders and forward-thinking staff. Together with the Board of Directors, YCL President Robert F. Lambert, and Leadership staff, the group works in harmony to support our community and serve as advocates of literacy.

York Library District

The York Library District supports and enhances the operations of public libraries in York and Adams Counties. This includes 19 state-aided libraries and one independent non-state-aided library. Martin Library in York City serves as the District Library Center.
