Programs for Everyone

Whether you’re interested in learning a new skill, meeting new people, or just looking for something fun to do, York County Libraries can help you! Our programs cover a variety of interests for all ages.

All of our programs serve a unique purpose. Children’s programs such as Story Times teach early literacy skills through picture books, music, and interactivity with caregivers and other children. Teen programs like Part of the Story help teens discover the importance of using their voices to improve their communities.

In addition to our core programs listed below, every library has a variety of recurring and one-time events. Check out our calendar for upcoming events.

Featured Program: Grade One At the Library

Every fall, York County Libraries sets a “GOAL” of getting a library card into the hand of every first grader in the county! Kids who participate can earn special prizes for their first three visits to the library.
