An Evening with David Baldacci

York County Libraries (PA) is pleased to bring author David Baldacci to the Appell Center for our inaugural “Beyond the Books” event. On May 22, Baldacci will discuss his life as a best-selling novelist, his writer’s routine, and humorous stories from the road.

About the Program

“Beyond the Books” is an author-centered event which benefits York County Libraries. Attendees are given the opportunity to meet their favorite author and get the story behind their works. This unique event series promotes reading and community engagement in York County, PA.

Our Inaugural Author

David Baldacci

David Baldacci is a global #1 bestselling author and one of the world’s favorite storytellers. His books are published in over 45 languages and in more than 80 countries, with 150 million copies sold worldwide. His works have been adapted for both feature film and television.

His newest book Strangers in Time is a standalone WWII thriller and will be released in spring 2025. This book will be signed during the event.

York County Libraries President Robert F. Ticket Prices

All tickets include entry to the main event and the book signing afterward. Ticket prices are inclusive of all taxes and fees.

Regular Tickets: $52 – Entry to the event and the after-event book signing.
VIP Tickets: $155 – Entry to the VIP pre-event reception, the event, and the after-event book signing.

With Optional Book Add-On

For an optional $20 add-on, attendees can reserve one copy of Baldacci’s newest book, Strangers in Time, while supplies last. Attendees will receive their book upon entry to the event on May 22.

Book Signing

David Baldacci will be signing his latest book, Strangers in Time, from 8-9pm.

Attendees may choose to purchase a copy of the book with their ticket for an additional $20, while supplies last. However, attendees are welcome to bring a copy purchased elsewhere for signing.

Note: The only book which will be signed during the event is Strangers in Time. Limit one book per person.
