Tax Preparation Assistance

AARP Tax-Aide Program

Free tax preparation assistance is available through the AARP Tax-Aide Program. Appointments are open to all ages, but especially those aged 50+, from January 8, 2024. AARP membership is not required.

Be sure to bring along a valid photo ID and proof of Social Security/ITIN number for anyone on the tax return, including dependents. If you want direct deposit of any refunds or payments, bring a voided bank check. Bringing last year’s tax return may help, also!

AARP Tax-Aide volunteers can prepare most personal income tax returns, including those with basic self-employment income. They are not trained to do business returns such as corporate, partnership, limited partnership, farm income, or rental income.

For questions about the Tax-Aide service, please email [email protected].

Beginning January 8, 2024 make an appointment by calling any of the below locations or by visiting https://www.yorkaarptaxaide.com
