Tax Preparation Assistance
AARP Tax-Aide Program
Appointments open to all ages, but especially those aged 50+, from January 18, 2023 – April 15, 2023. AARP membership is not required.
Free tax preparation assistance available through the AARP Tax-Aide Program. Be sure to bring along any relevant documents to your appointment.
AARP Tax-Aide volunteers can prepare most personal income tax returns, including those with basic self-employment income. They are not trained to do business returns such as corporate, partnership, limited partnership, farm income, or rental income.

Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA)
VITA is a program that offers free tax help to people who make $54,000 or less, have disabilities, or are limited speaking in the English language. The Volunteers at VITA provide free basic income tax return preparation with electronic filing to those individuals who qualify.

No Social Security Number, but need to file taxes?
You can apply for an Individual Taxpayer Identification Number (ITIN) in-person using the services of an IRS-authorized Certifying Acceptance Agent (CAA). You may contact one of the following IRS Volunteer Income Tax Assistance partners listed below to schedule an appointment for CAA services.
