History at the Library

Your local small town library is a great resource for historians, local history buffs and genealogists. Want to research your family or take a trip down memory lane?

The Paul Smith Library has books from local historians on Glen Rock, Shrewsbury and New Freedom, and The Herald newspaper archives from the 60’s. You can also access PA photos and Documents online through the York County Libraries website. Give it a try or stop in and see what you might dig up from your family’s past.
