How Does Your Garden Grow

Inside Paul Smith library you’ll find all sorts of food for you brain, but did you know there’s a place out back for your soul?

Well, ok it’s a garden. This enclosed space is open the same hours as the library. In winter, the grape arbor sleeps under snow but now that spring is here, the daffodils and Irises are popping up (and the weeds).

The porch has a table for sitting and several nice benches protected from the rain. There is a bird box on the fence and plenty of flowers throughout the year. The gravel isn’t really made for rough outdoor play but it’s a great place to explore nature with your child, read a book together, or hunt for insects and bugs.

Please see Amanda at the front desk if you want to be involved with some minor upkeep of the garden space. (ie weeding.)
