The Hardest Working Person in Libraries!

Today we pay tribute to the hardest working person in libraries. Nearly every library has an image of this person somewhere in their building, on their logo, or at the very least somewhere around town.
I am of course speaking of the National Library Symbol. the person in profile reading a book. Here in Dillsburg, street signs point you to 204 Mumper Lane, home of the Library! This person is EVERYWHERE!

The National Library Symbol has been designed in 1978 and was adopted by the American Library Association in 1982. You can learn all about the National Library Symbol here: https://libguides.ala.org/NationalLibrarySymbol.

We salute you Library Symbol person! Keep up the good work!
