Are you stuck in a reading rut? Do you find yourself starting a book, only to realize a chapter or two in that you’ve already read it? Has it been forever since the last time you ventured out of your reading comfort zone and tried a new genre or a new author? Are you impatient waiting around for your favorite author to write something new?
If you answered yes to any or all of these questions, then the Dillsburg Library’s Adult Fall Reading Challenge may be what you need to shake things up. Starting on October 1 complete the crossword puzzle (found here), then read 4 books in the genres mentioned in the puzzle. Send in the titles and your recommendations about them by November 6 to be entered into a drawing for a gift card to a restaurant or local business of your choice! You will also receive an emailed list of the books read and the recommendations of everyone who participates to further broaden your literary horizons.
So sharpen your pencil, put on your thinking cap, and get ready to take on the challenge! You just might find yourself excited about reading again in a whole new way!
