It’s that time of year again: time to start thinking about the 2020 Friends of the Library Spring Book Sale! Another opportunity to find great deals and help the Library at the same time. The two annual sales (Spring and Fall) in 2019 raised over $3700 to support our operations. We could not do this without the support of the community and our wonderful Friends group!
We will start collecting books for the sale beginning on March 9 and continue to accept donations through April 13. Please note that we do not accept VHS or cassette tapes, magazines, Readers Digest condensed books, or books that are in poor or unsalable condition (moldy, worn, etc.).
The sale itself will start on April 18 (from 9am-5pm) and continue from April 20-25 (during normal operating hours). Prices are $1 each or 6 for $5 for adult material and $.50 or 3 for $1 for children’s material. The final day, April 25, is “fill-a-bag” for $5 day.
If you are interested in helping with the sale, please consider becoming a member of the Friends of the Library! Meetings are the 4th Tuesday of the month at 6:30pm from February to April (February 25, March 24, April 28). The Friends will also meet later in the year for the Fall book sale.
