Traveling? We Can Help!

I am a self described “museum geek.” I love to visit museums and historic sites to learn all about history! As the summer travel season starts, libraries can help you fuel your wanderlust!

How does travel tie in with libraries? Well, libraries are a great source of information on historic and travel resources. The Dillsburg Area Public Library and all York County Libraries have all sorts of information on travel. Booking a trip to exotic places like Paris, Rio, and Beijing or even closer to home in Lancaster and Philly? We’ve got you covered. We’ve got travel guides to help you plan your itinerary! We have travel guides like Lonely Planet, Fodor’s, and Rick Steves.

Going on a road trip or have a long flight and need entertainment? We got audiobooks for your CD player and downloadable ebooks and eaudiobooks for your mobile device! Kids need entertained? We got you covered there as well! You can find all of our books and materials in our online catalog.

If you are on the road and need wifi or computer access or just a place to stop and rest, libraries are great places to do so! If you are in York County, there are 13 libraries to visit! I have helped more than one visitor print a boarding pass and I have even giving directions to local attractions.

Whether your going near or far, the library can help!
