Kid-to-Kid Book Suggestions

Parents, give your kids a nudge this summer. Lazy days are here, and sometimes reluctant readers need a little nudge to get them going on a great new book.

Have you tried suggesting a million books, only to have your child turn them down with a sigh?  Try some friendly peer pressure in the best possible way. A few of our enthusiastic readers have already logged 800 minutes of reading this summer, and here are some of there favorites.  Try them!  Maybe your child will like them, too.

Allie Finkle’s Rules for Girls
Diary of a Wimpy Kid
Dora books
Ducky’s Seasons
Eregon
The Happy Hollisters
Harry Potter (especially The Half Blood Prince)
Junie B. Jones: Toothless Wonder
Keeper of the Lost Cities series
Lunch Lady
The Mrs. Piggle Wiggle Treasury
Powerpuff Girls
Ready Player One

Happy Reading to all the kids out there this summer!
