Come and celebrate Earth Day  and Arbor Day at Kaltreider-Benfer Library! We will read some stories about these special days and make our very own seed bombs! Space is limited.  Pre-registration is required. 

Come out  for an afternoon of all things bubbles!  Join Miss Kelli as we read about bubbles, make our own bubble wands, and even do some bubble art!    

Come celebrate National Selfie Day at Kaltreider-Benfer Library!   Drop in and use a prop to take a selfie!  Take home a grab and go activity bag, while supplies last!   

What better adventure than taking in the great outdoors?  Join Kelly Ford, Environmental Education Specialist with the PA Department of Conservation and Natural Resources, as she introduces the basics of map reading and outdoor readiness.  Put these skills to use on a local outdoor hike!   Geared toward families and early elementary schoolers.  June 22nd, 11

Teens are invited to play a variety of board games at 9 different libraries across York County over the summer. Come to as many library game days as you want. Learn new games, and meet other board game fans, too!   Wednesday, June 26th from 3-5pm at Kaltreider-Benfer Library.  Geared toward ages 12-18

What’s trending with teens and young adults? Zines!    These small, handmade magazines give teens a way to share their thoughts, opinions, or feelings on any subject that matters to them. In this program, teens will learn about the culture of zines and create their own. Copies can be made to trade and collect. All supplies

The beauty of nature is all around us.  Join Kelly Ford, Environmental Education Specialist with the PA Department of Conservation and Natural Resources, as she introduces how to use found natural items to create ephemeral art.  Plus, learn how art is used in natural science!   This is an all age program, July 26th at 11am.
