Advice from the Village Rooster

The Village Rooster, our mascot who lives in our front window, has offered to write this week’s blog. Rooster is a happy bird.  After all, he was saved from a fate worse than death when Miss Kitty bought him at a yard sale and gave him a home at the library.  Rooster wants everyone else to be happy too. (So do we–that’s why we work in a library and make sure everyone has books to read!)

Here is Rooster’s advice:  Money can’t buy happiness, but it can buy chickens; and chickens make eggs–and breakfast makes you happy. (What do you expect? This is advice from a chicken!)
