In addition to Hanna’s virtual visit, “The Bucket List” will be the focus of book discussions at the four locations. A lifelong resident of Georgia, Hanna is best known for her stories about southerners, and contemporary small-town romances with quirky characters. She is the author of four standalone novels and multiple book series including January Cove, South Carolina Sunsets, Sweet Tea B&B, Whiskey Ridge, Wisteria Island, and The Jubilee.

“The upcoming conversation with Rachel Hanna will give local readers a first-hand opportunity to hear the author’s perspective about her book and characters,” says York County Libraries President Robert F. Lambert. “The wonderful thing about this library program series is that when you reach the end of a great book, it is not over. There are more opportunities surrounding the book. Readers can virtually meet the author, and then join other readers at our local libraries to discuss the book. The experience is not over on the last page.”

York County Libraries includes 13 libraries that provide the latest in print and digital information, bestsellers, Wi-Fi, story times, book discussions and 80 databases. In addition to their extensive collection of 534,000 physical items, they offer over one million digital library materials for loan. All are available for free with a York County Libraries card.
