New Group Focuses on Wellness

Library Hosts Women’s Wellness Group: A Return to Life Balance, Health, and Happiness

Shrewsbury, PA – Paul Smith Library of Southern York County is delighted to invite women from all walks of life to join an empowering group that focuses on revitalizing the body, mind, and spirit. The Women’s Wellness Group: A Return to Life Balance, Health, and Happiness is held every third Thursday at the library from 1:00-2:30 p.m. Upcoming sessions include Thursday May 18, June 15, July 20, August 17, and September 21.

Led by Pam Neale, RN, Retired, an expert in health and wellness, attendees can expect an engaging and interactive gathering. Neale brings years of experience and expertise to the table, having positively impacted countless lives with her comprehensive approach to well-being. The Women’s Wellness Group is dedicated to fostering open discussions and providing positive ideas, guidance, and support on health and wellness strategies.

According to Neale, regardless of where you currently find yourself in life, whether you are seeking improved health or a renewed sense of well-being, this group promises to be a valuable experience. Participants will have the opportunity to explore their personal goals and aspirations with a focus on where they envision themselves in the future.

“We are thrilled to extend an invitation to all women who are eager to transform their lives and embrace a holistic approach to well-being,” said Pam Neale, the group facilitator. “Join us as we delve into open discussions, share positive ideas, and support one another on our individual journeys to improved health and happiness. Regardless of your current circumstances, you have a seat waiting for you in our group.”

To make the most of this transformative experience, attendees are encouraged to bring a notepad to jot down the ideas and inspiration they encounter throughout each meeting.

“Whether you are a seasoned wellness enthusiast or just beginning your journey towards a healthier lifestyle, this group promises to be inclusive and supportive,” says Paul Smith Library of Southern York County Director Michele Lefler. “Everyone deserves to achieve optimal health and happiness, and this program will provide the tools and inspiration to make that a reality.”

This event is a Health Literacy event. PA Forward defines Health Literacy as having the ability to make informed decisions in relation to an individual’s physical, mental, emotional or spiritual health, as well as the issues faced by caregivers understanding the health information of a loved one.
