For the sixth consecutive year, York County Libraries will participate in Give Local York, the biggest day of giving in York County! The 27-hour online event will start on Thursday, May 4 from 9:00:00 p.m. and the giving will run through 11:59:59 p.m on Friday, May 5. Last year, community members came together to raise an amazing $4.17 million for nearly 300 local nonprofits. Give Local York amplifies the work that local organizations are doing collectively to enrich the lives of community members.
A Big Thank You from YCL!
“Give Local York spotlights the many local organizations dedicated to enriching the lives of York Countians. It is inspiring to see the collective outpouring of community support for York County’s nonprofits,” says York County Libraries President Robert F. Lambert. “Our libraries are appreciative of the enthusiastic support we receive through this initiative each year. Donations help our 13 libraries connect readers of all ages to information, technology, and educational experiences.”
