Reading Journey
Calling all lovers of dragons, princes and princesses, magical creatures and fairytales!

What is it?
Our Reading Journey Celebration celebrates the love of reading! This event encourages children 0-5 and their families to complete the 1000 Books Before Kindergarten Program.
This year’s Reading Journey is fairy-tale themed. We are encouraging all participants to dress as their favorite fairy-tale character! The day will include:
- Special guest story tellers
- Crafts
- Snacks
- Parade
- Dance Party
This event is a “pop-in” style event. Children and families can stop in at any point to join the fun! Children do not need to be registered for the 1000 Books Before Kindergarten Program to participate. (Don’t know about this great program? Read more about it here.)

Saturday, March 4th, 2023 from 10am-1pm
at Paul Smith Library in Shrewsbury (80 Constitution Ave., Shrewsbury, PA 17361)
FREE and open to children aged 0-5 and their families. Siblings are welcome to join in the fun!
