Construction at Martin Library is rolling right along towards its anticipated completion this spring. The newly renovated Children’s Room is now open for holds pickup and browsing of the children’s collection only. While there, members can see the new look of the Children’s Room. Temporarily moved during construction, the Turtle Baby and the bronze girl statues have been safely returned to the outdoor fountain and garden.
Renovations are already finished in the adult computer lab and teen area. They will reopen this spring when library renovations are complete. Ongoing construction in the former main desk area and the atrium currently prohibit safe access to these sections. The good news is that construction is running on schedule and it won’t be long until the renovated Martin Library is fully open.
