Community Invited to Martin Library Information Session

York County residents curious about the construction happening at the Martin Library are invited to attend a virtual community information session. The free event will be held on Zoom at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, June 15. Registration is now underway on the YCL events calendar Sign up today!  A link for the event will be sent to your email. 

York County Libraries President Robert F. Lambert and Martin Library Director Mina Edmondson will lead the information session. Martin Library is One of York County’s oldest libraries, serving the community since 1935. Renovations will take place to more than 18,000 of Martin’s 68,528 square-foot facility resulting in an expanded teen area with digital media labs, a place for hands-on learning for youth, and a community gathering wing. Kinsley Construction, Inc. is leading construction anticipated to be completed at the start of 2022.
