Celebrating National Library Week

Along with our sister libraries across the country, we are celebrating National Library Week from April 19-25. Over the years, we did a variety of things from hosting authors, speakers and special events to asking staff and members to tell us how the library makes a difference in their lives.  Each year, the celebration looks a little different and this year is no exception.

Our Virtual Doors Are Open

This year, it is our virtual doors that are flung wide open.  Come on in. Discover what we have for you online.  There are over 80,000 eBooks, audiobooks, movies, music, and comics available to borrow.  There are 80 databases and resources at your fingertips.  Story time has moved from in-library to Facebook three times a week.  And if the kids want to see their favorites again, all of them can be found on our new Instagram IGTV channel and YouTube.

We Are Here For You

We are honored to have the opportunity to serve you during National Library Week and throughout the year.  You are why we are here. You are why our librarians are working behind-the-scenes to assure virtual access to the library services you need.  Thank you for being a member of York County Libraries.
