If you are a teen, age 13 to 18, it is time to get your creativity flowing and enter into the Second Annual York County Libraries Cupcake Wars. Simply register at a participating library. It all gets started with qualifying rounds held at libraries across the County. The contest is free to enter and no supplies are needed. You just sign-up and then come show off your creative decorating skills. Competition challenges, cupcakes, and decorating materials will all be provided by libraries. The top two competitors from each qualifying round will be invited to compete in the county-wide Cupcake Wars Championship at 11:00 a.m. Sunday, August 19th at the Dover Area Community Center located beside Dover Area Community Library. A panel of judges will assign a series of decorating challenges and will announce the Cupcake Wars Champion at the close of the event.
