York County’s First 24-Hour Give Day is May 4!

York County’s largest day of giving Give Local York is taking place on Friday, May 4.  This is a first for York County!  We have watched our neighbor Lancaster County raise $8 million dollars during their Extraordinary Give Day.  Now it is York County’s turn.   The collective goal is $1 million.

On this day, thousands of people will come together to support 211 York County nonprofits.  Our libraries are participating.  Please consider donating to York County Libraries or any one of our incredible libraries!   Your help enriches the entire community.  We are a safe place where people gather to learn.  By giving on May 4th… your donation will go even further thanks to the Give Local York Stretch Pool.

Here’s a glimpse at how your donation can help:

provide one hour of free technology usage for adults and seniors to search for employment, take online classes, or increase their knowledge and skills to effectively use current technology.
provide programming for 20 teens with resources that are both educational & entertaining, and help them to make life-directing decisions.
provide 10 pre-school aged children the opportunity to use educational materials in STEM-based programming that help them to develop critical literacy skills.

To donate to all York County Libraries for Give Local York, go to  givelocalyork.org between midnight and 11:59pm on May 4!  To donate to your favorite library, click on the name below to give on that same day.   We thank you for your support!
