Located in the heart of downtown York, PA, this historic library offers the largest collection of books in York County, quiet study rooms, comfortable seating, public computers, and programs for all ages. In the Children’s area, families will find charming picture books, early readers, chapter books, children’s nonfiction, and more. Children’s programs support early literacy standards from birth onward. We even have an outdoor sensory garden!
Upstairs is nonfiction and a newly renovated Teens’ area. Youth can create, grow, and share their interests. They build community though fun activities like table games, Open Mics, and library programs. Stop in and start creating new possibilities with us at Martin Library!
