DILLSBURG, PA — The Friends of the Dillsburg Area Public Library are excited to invite the community to their upcoming 2026 Fall Book Sale, running from September 19 through September 26 at the library.
The sale kicks off at 9:00 AM on September 19 and will continue during regular library hours for the remainder of the week. Visitors can browse thousands of books, DVDs, and board games, along with a fantastic selection of puzzles for all ages. In addition to great reads and items, tickets will be available for purchase to win several wonderful raffle baskets. The week-long event concludes with the community-favorite “fill-a-bag” day on the final Saturday.

Fueling the Library’s Mission
The Friends of the Dillsburg Area Public Library host two major annual sales to raise essential operational funds. Since reorganizing in 2017, the group has generated over $47,000 for the library, highlighted by a record-breaking Spring 2026 sale that raised over $7,000.
“Our community’s passion for reading directly translates into a stronger library,” said Library Director Keith Greenawalt. “Thanks to the dedication of the Friends and our wonderful patrons, these book sales provide the vital support we need to bridge the gap in public funding and keep our doors open to everyone.”
