Upcoming Events:
Hanover History Panel
This will be an informal presentation by area historians.
Participants include Pete
Schott, Don Jamison, Jack Tanger, Linda Bolin and Dick
Crouse. Each panel member will share his personal reflections on
the changes that have occurred in Hanover over their lifetime.
There will also be photos and memorabilia. Audience
participation is encouraged and welcome. Come join in a fun
evening of revelation and reminiscing!

Artist of the Month: Ray Hartland. The
majority of his work are still life paintings, but he also does
animals, landscapes and people. Visit his work on the Balcony

Teen Advisory
Group - Wednesday, February 29

Teen Study area. Open to all teens.
Creative Writing for Teens - Thursdays, February

Teen
Reading Buddies - Children
will pair up with a teen for buddy/shared
reading. There will be at least 2 teens
per program, and
children will sign up for a 15 minute block with
one of the teens. This one-on-one reading
can have the child reading to the teen, teen
reading to the child, or both The program
is for children ages 3 - 7. The sessions
will be on the second Saturday of the month from
10:30 - 11:30 am in the Children's Library.

Kindergarten Countdown
- Do you have a 4 or 5 year old who
will be entering Kindergarten this fall?
The library has a special program called
Kindergarten Countdown for all those in the
Hanover & South Western School Districts.
There will be a story time, games & activities
planned. Please call the library at

Reading Therapy Dogs for
Kids!
This is a great
way to encourage your child to read for fun. The sessions are the third
and fourth Saturdays of the month at 10:00 am in
the Children's library. Call 632-5183 to
schedule your session to read to one of the
therapy dogs.
