Guthrie Library Honors Christina Rosensteel
It is with great joy that the Honors Committee of Guthrie Memorial Library announces its eleventh honoree, Christina “Chrissy” Rosensteel. Chrissy’s community leadership and service to the library was recognized in a ceremony on September 8, 2024.
About Chrissy
Forty-seven years ago Richard Rosensteel, Christina’s father, opened Rosensteel Insurance, Inc. In 2004, Christina moved back to Hanover and has worked with her Dad ever since. In 2001, Rosensteel Insurance joined Keystone Insurance Group, giving them national reach in all areas of insurance. Christina, known to many as “Chrissy”, has her Property and Casualty License, Life and Health License, and is a Certified Workers Compensation Advisor.
Chrissy is a member of the Her Traditions Board and serves on the St. Vincent de Paul Church Finance Council Board. She is the current president of the Board of Governors of Guthrie Memorial Library and serves on the board of the Hanover Public Library Association.
Chrissy has also served on the boards of the Performing Arts Foundation of Hanover, Keystone Small Business Council, Rotary Club, Junior Achievement and the ERA Advisory Board. She served ten years as Chair of the Sweet Charities Golf Tournament.
Chrissy loves time with family and friends, world traveling (as she received her master’s degree in International Business), think tanks, and higher education. She completed ground school for her private pilot license before earning her PhD in 2016 in Management with a specialization in Leadership and Organizational Change. While working and going to school fulltime, she became a realtor in 2012, earning designations as Accredited Buyer’s Representative and Seller Representative Specialist.
In November, Chrissy was the recipient of the Hanover Chambers of Commerce 2023 Traditions Women’s Enrichment Award. She works hard and strives to be there for her clients, friends, and family whenever they need her. Her passion for education led her to become involved in the library, and she is most humbled and honored to be the 2024 Honoree for Guthrie Library, Hanover’s Public Library.
