A North York County Treasure!

Our friendly staff share fun and educational programs for everyone in the family—from early learning to history to live music, our dynamic roster of events and programs is sure to interest our visitors. We offer a separate children’s area for families to enjoy; a meeting room available for booking; public computers & Wi-Fi access; and printing, copying, and fax services (fees apply), all supplied by helpful staff. Parking is never a problem with our spacious attached lot, and our collection of over 30,000 items is sure to have something for everyone to discover. Our Jordan Richardson Reading Garden offers a quiet outdoor space to enjoy a book or come inside for comfortable seating.

Dillsburg Happenings - October 2026

Autumn is a wonderful time to visit the Dillsburg Area Public Library, and our October calendar is full of free activities for neighbors of all ages!

Bring the family out on Saturday, October 3, at 5:30 PM for a lively lawn concert with Silly Joe and delicious ice cream from the Alsies truck. You can also catch Miss Sue out around town sharing silly ghost stories at Coover Park on October 10 and running a LEGO® zipline during the Dillsburg Farmers Fair on October 16. From weekly Wednesday evening TeenTober get-togethers to helpful adult Medicare workshops, we would love to have you join us!
