York County Libraries (PA) is pleased to present thriller icon Sandra Brown to the Appell Center for our second annual “Beyond the Books” event. On April 23, 2026, Sandra will take the stage to share stories from her prolific career and the lessons she learned on her journey to the top of the New York Times bestseller list.

About the Program

“Beyond the Books” is signature fundraising event featuring renowned authors to benefit York County Libraries. Attendees enjoy a unique opportunity to meet their favorite writers and discover the stories behind their works. This series promotes reading and community engagement throughout York County, PA. Proceeds from the evening enable York County Libraries to provide essential services and resources to our community free of charge.

Sandra Brown
Bestselling Thriller Icon

Sandra Brown is the author of 77 New York Times bestsellers, including Blood Moon, Out of Nowhere, Overkill, and Mean Streak. She has published over 80 novels, has upwards of eighty million copies of her books in print worldwide, and her work has been translated into 34 languages.

Brown has served as president of Mystery Writers of America. In 2008, she was named Thriller Master, the top award given by the International Thriller Writer’s Association.

All tickets include entry to the main event and the book signing afterward. Ticket prices are inclusive of all taxes and fees.

General Admission: $52 – Entry to the event and the after-event book signing.
VIP Experience: $155 – Limited quantities available! Includes entry to the private VIP reception featuring:
- Hors d’oeuvres
- Meet-and-greet with the author
- Informal photos and book signing with Sandra

Secure a copy of Sandra’s newest March 2026 release, Bloodlust, for just $20 (while supplies last)! Books pre-purchased with a ticket will be available for pickup at the event.

Book Signing

Sandra Brown will be signing her latest book, Bloodlust, from 8-9pm.

Attendees may choose to purchase a copy of the book with their ticket for an additional $20, while supplies last. However, attendees are welcome to bring a copy purchased elsewhere for signing.
