Thank you for submitting your request to York County Libraries. If you have submitted an Interlibrary Loan request, a hold will be placed on your library account once we have requested the material.

Interlibrary Loan submissions are assessed daily, Monday through Friday. Typically, requests are processed within 2 to 4 weeks. However, some requests may take longer or may not be fulfilled due to material availability or lender policies. We will notify you via your preferred contact method when the items are ready for pickup or if we encounter any issues in borrowing the requested material.

A $5 fee will be charged to your account for failure to pick up your Interlibrary Loan material. Overdue fines are $1 per day per item. Members are responsible for the cost of damaged or lost Interlibrary Loan items: the cost is determined by the lending library, with a minimum charge of $25 for lost items.

If you recommend a purchase, we will make every effort to accommodate your request. Due to the volume of requests, we are unable to contact you with the status of the request. Please check the catalog at a later time to see if your request has been purchased.
