SummerQuest is the York County Libraries annual summer program for all ages: kids, teens, and adults. Hundreds of activities surrounding this summer’s “Unearth A Story™” theme are planned. There is no cost to participate in the program which runs June 1 through August 16.

This year’s SummerQuest program is made possible thanks to the generous support of Capital Blue Cross, C&N, First National Bank, Graham Capital Company, Kinsley Construction, Kinsley Steel, M&T Bank, Traditions Bank a Division of ACNB Bank, Univest Financial, Walton & Company, Waste Management, Weis Markets, and York Precision Machining and Hydraulics. This aids YCL’s delivery of a robust SummerQuest program that inspires students to keep learning during summer vacation and provides literacy opportunities for all.

York County Libraries strengthen the community and enrich individual lives. YCL programs and services help community members build the five core literacies championed by the Pennsylvania Library Association PA Forward® program. Thirteen library locations provide the latest in print and digital information, bestsellers, Wi-Fi, story times, book discussions, and databases.
