Looking for a place to host your child’s next birthday party? York County Libraries is excited to offer Story Time birthday parties at Martin Library! Led by a qualified professional educator, Story Time Birthdays are a unique, fun, and educational birthday experience for children ages one to five.
If you’re looking for a safer alternative to trampoline parks, jungle gyms, or other common party venues, consider giving us a try!
Our Parties Include...
- A party theme of your choice. Four options to choose from:
- Animals/Dinosaurs
- Princesses
- Superheroes
- Trucks and Trains
- A two-hour room rental at Martin Library
- Setup, cleanup, and a dedicated party coordinator
- Group story time of 2-3 books
- Age-appropriate activities such as crafts, songs/music, playtime, etc.
- A gift for the birthday child
- Special invitations for your child’s guests
Cost
$230 is the base cost for a birthday party of up to 11 children (the birthday child + 10 friends).
More children are welcome to attend for an additional $15 per child.

Invite a special guest to join the celebration! Ask our Party Coordinator about having a face-painter, princess, magician, balloon twister, or other performer at the party!

Let us take care of the treats for you! Choose from cupcakes, cookies, or dessert cups–all freshly made by a local bakery.

Additional Attendees
Want to invite more than ten children? No problem! For an additional $15 per child, more children are welcome to attend, up to a total of 20.

Miss Erica has a master’s degree in education and loves bringing stories to life!
With experience as a children’s librarian and preschool teacher, she’s all about fun—sharing magical books, silly songs, and creative crafts that spark imagination and giggles every step of the way. Miss Erica is excited to help create a fun birthday experience for your child!
