The Friends of the Dillsburg Area Public Library are pleased to announce their upcoming 2025 Spring Book Sale. The sale, which will take place at the library, runs from April 26th through May 3rd.The sale will commence at 9am on April 26th and follow regular library hours for the remainder of the sale. Thousands of books for all ages will be available. Additionally, DVDs and puzzles will also be for sale. The final day of the sale is the popular “fill-a-bag” day.
The Friends of the Dillsburg Area Public Library conduct two annual sales to raise needed funds for library operations. Since its reorganization in 2017, the Friends have raised $30,000 for operations at the library. In 2024 alone, the total raised was $7,500 during the two sales.
“The Friends have done an absolutely fantastic job in raising money for the library over the past few years,” said Library Director Keith Greenawalt. “As costs rise and public funding continues to lag, events like these become critical to the continued success of public libraries everywhere.”
Hours & Location
Regular library hours are Monday through Thursday from 10am–8pm, Friday from 10am–3pm, and Saturday from 10am–5pm.
