You’ll always be pleasantly surprised at what’s happening at Dover Area Community Library! Besides excellent and friendly library services, including a robust offering of books from bestselling authors, you’ll find dynamic and entertaining educational programs for kids of all ages. Inside the library, you’ll find Story Times, special events and programs, and free computer and Wi-Fi access. Outside the library, families can explore our new StoryWalk® in nearby Lehr Park. Welcome to Dover Library!
The StoryWalk® Project was created by Anne Ferguson and developed in collaboration with the Kellogg-Hubbard Library in Montpelier Vermont. Storywalk® is a registered service mark owned by the Kellogg-Hubbard Library.

Literacy for Change, a bold, community-powered crowdfunding initiative is designed to raise $500,000 annually to expand literacy access across York County. Through a 24- hour online day of giving on October 10, 2025, YCL will mobilize thousands of library champions to help us expand literacy and learning county-wide.
