Martin Library Honors Chrysta Stine
YORK, PA – The Martin Library Honors Committee will recognize Chrysta Stine as its Spring 2026 Honoree for her exemplary service to libraries and the York County community. A ceremony and reception will be held in her honor at 5:00 p.m. Thursday, May 21 at Martin Library in York. Individuals interested in attending should register at donate.yorklibraries.org by May 7.
The honors ceremony will feature tributes to Stine by several guest speakers. They include Retired Senior Director of Development Jackie Summers, Living Word Community Church Chief People and Operations Officer Andy Seebold, and Penn-Mar Human Services CEO Greg Miller.
“We are grateful for Chrysta’s many years of dedication and enthusiastic support of the critical role the library plays within the community,” says York County Libraries President Robert F. Lambert. “She has held leadership roles in two library capital campaigns, served on the York County Libraries board of directors, and was past Chair and current Treasurer of the Martin Library Board.”
Stine also serves on the boards of Penn-Mar Human Services and Living Word Church. She retired from her role as WellSpan Health Vice President of Finance in 2021, after 23 years of service.
A key component of the Martin Honors event is establishing a perpetual fund to purchase books in the honoree’s name. Contributions are welcome by donating securely online at donate.yorklibraries.org or by mail to Martin Library Honors Fund, 159 East Market Street, York, PA 17401.
