The Friends of the Dillsburg Area Public Library are pleased to announce their upcoming 2025 Fall Book Sale. The sale, which will take place at the library, runs from September 20th through September 27th. The sale will commence at 9am on September 20th and follow regular library hours for the remainder of the sale. Thousands of books, DVDs, and puzzles for all ages will be available. For the first time, board games will also be sold. The final day of the sale is the popular “fill-a-bag” day.
The Friends of the Dillsburg Area Public Library conduct two annual sales to raise funds needed for library operations. Since its reorganization in 2017, The Friends have raised over $34,000 for the library. The 2025 Spring Sale alone raised nearly $4,400, a single-sale high.
“Book sales are important fundraisers for public libraries,” said Library Director Keith Greenawalt. “We rely on the good work of the Friends to help make up for flat government support.”
Hours & Location
Regular library hours are Monday through Thursday from 10am–8pm, Friday from 10am–3pm, and Saturday from 10am–5pm. The library closes at 3pm on Saturdays from July 1 to Labor Day.
