Getting to Know Our Staff: Information Services Team Member Stephanie

Meet Stephanie. Stephanie has worked at Martin Library since May of 2017 and loves helping our members. She believes herself to be inquisitive, enthusiastic, and joyful.

When Stephanie was growing up, she wanted to be a reporter. When she wasn’t dreaming of being a reporter, she remembers looking up at the stars while lying in a hammock, listening as her parents listened to a Phillies game on the radio. She even remembers hearing Harry Kalas’s voice announcing the game.

Since her childhood days, she has lived in Bensalem, Hatfield, Hershey, Harrisburg and most recently York, PA.

When she isn’t working, she is watching movies, going on “adventures” (as her son calls them) with her family and of course, reading.  Stephanie most recently read The Sisters: Babe Mortimer Paley, Betsey Roosevelt Whitney, Minnie Astor Fosburgh – The Lives and Times of the Fabulous Cushing Sisters, by David Grafton.

If you were to ask Stephanie about a superpower she wishes she had, she would want to be a mind reader. Though in reality, her superpower (secret talent) is that she is amazing at packing – boxes, trunks, luggage.  You name it!

Come by and say hi to Stephanie at the Information Services Desk.
