Families with children ages 3-5 are invited to register for at home storytime kits. Register one time for the months of January and February. These kits will feature 6 weeks (2 weeks in January, 4 Weeks in February) of crafts, learning, and sensory activities that are themed weekly to compliment a weekly virtual storytime. Each week Miss Katie will read one or two stories and sing a few songs that go along with the weekly theme.
The number of kits is limited and sign-up is required. To sign up, please e-mail [email protected] with your name and the number of children from your family who will be participating. Each child will receive craft items and learning sheets. Some shareable sensory items will be limited to 1 set per family. January kits will be ready for pick up beginning Tuesday, January 19 and will include 2 weeks of activities for the month of January. February kits will be available for pick up beginning Tuesday, February 2 and will include 4 weeks of activities.
Please note: The activities are geared towards ages 3-5 but other ages are welcome to participate. Some sensory play materials may be chocking hazards. Crafts may require additional supplies from home such as scissors, glue and crayons.
Families will gain access to a private Facebook group to watch the storytimes and interact with other library families. Storytimes will be presented live each Wednesday in November at 10:15 am but can be viewed later in the private group. Due to publishers online reading limitations, the storytimes will not be posted on the regular Paul Smith Library Facebook page after the live recording. Facebook access is required to view
