Kreutz Creek Library is ready to swing open the doors and officially introduce its new space to the community during its Grand Opening Celebration April 11 – 16. The week’s festivities kick off with a ribbon-cutting ceremony at 9:00 a.m. Monday, April 11. Join York County Libraries President Robert F. Lambert, new Kreutz Creek Library Manager Jennifer Johnson, the Friends of the Library, and other special guests for the premiere event. Tours of the brand new library will follow and run until 10:30 a.m. that morning.

“We are looking forward to introducing this brand new library facility to the community,” says Robert. “Our Kreutz Creek Library staff provided an outstanding level of service in its cramped quarters in a 1,200 square foot FEMA trailer for 42 years. It is going to be amazing to watch what they can accomplish in the new 8,800 square foot library.”
The library has a roster of events planned for all ages throughout the week. The grand finale is a Saturday Showcase & Open House from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. “We encourage everyone to visit the new library, especially during this celebration week when our visitors can learn all about the exciting programs and activities we are offering in our spacious new location,” says Jennifer.
