About Sean

Sean Clark founded York Independents, Inc. in 2001 to help others access knowledge and strategies to help secure their financial future. Originally trained as an engineer, Sean says the attacks of Sept. 11, 2001, awakened a desire in him to find a way to more closely help the people in his community. Because of this, he changed his focus to financial services.

Sean is a Master Registered Financial Consultant and an Investment Adviser Representative, as he has passed the Series 65 securities exam. He is also licensed in Pennsylvania for health and life insurance as well as annuities. He earned his Bachelor of Science in mechanical engineering at Penn State University and his Master of Business Administration in Entrepreneurship from American Public University. Clark also has completed graduate courses in financial markets at Yale University and is a Ph.D. candidate at University of the Cumberlands.

Sean is a lifelong resident of York County, Pennsylvania, where he and his wife, Annette, are raising their two daughters, Virginia and Callie. Sean is a drag racing fan, and York Independents sponsors the NHRA Leverage Racing Team. In his free time, he stays active with Rotary and Friends of Spring Garden. Sean and his family love to travel the United States in their RV.
