While books remain a vibrant part of what Guthrie Memorial Library provides t the community, your library has evolved into a community hub welcoming approximately 200,000 visitors each year, circulating a quarter of a million items to 38,561 card holders, and providing nearly 1,000 programs to over 26,000 people.
Our services are growing! Meeting the community’s needs is our focus. did you know that in 2019 we started a senior center, hosted three New York Times best selling authors, and implemented six robotics teams? We offered four STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Math) summer camps and remodeled our Children’s Library.
Your donation directly supports programming, free computer labs, free Wi-Fi, Interlibrary loans, The Pennsylvania Room for genealogy study, expert staffing, safe and welcoming gathering spaces, books and other materials.
