What can I do at Arthur Hufnagel Public Library?

Additionally, each library has their own unique offerings scheduled throughout the year.

Twisted Stitchers

Come join us for chatting, laughter and learning! Bring along your thread-based art or your interest to learn a new craft! New members always welcome!

When is this held?  1st Monday of the Month: 1-3 pm; 2nd Saturday of the Month: 10am-12pm

Friends of the Library

Join the friends of the library and help make your library the best place to be! For more information about our library’s Friends Group and what they do, visit the Friends of Arthur Hufnagel Public Library page. New members always welcome. Meetings are on the 3rd Tuesday of every month from September to May.

Glen Rock Literary Society

Our Glen Rock Literary Society is Arthur Hufnagel’s own book discussion group. Come prepared to discuss the current month’s book while also enjoying an evening with great company. Taste of the Valley

The library’s biggest fundraiser of the year! There is wine tasting, amazing food, raffles, silent auctions, and live music! Join your community in this fun, eventful evening, while also showing your support for the library.

Who is this for? Adults 21+
When is this held? Friday October 25, 2019, 6-11pm
How much are tickets? $45 per person or $80 per couple

For Families

Homegrown Learners

Homegrown Learners welcomes home schooled students of all ages to join other home school families in the library for a monthly discussion of various topics. Sessions may also include activities, special speakers, as well as free time to socialize with others.

Who is this for? All Ages
When is this held? 1st & 3rd Wednesdays September – May, 1-3pm
What should I bring? Notebook if you wish.

Family Block Party

Drop in on Saturday to play and create with a different building set each week: Legos, Lincoln Logs, Waffle Builders, wooden blocks, and many more.

Who is this for? All Ages
When is this held? 1st, 2nd, 4th, and 5th Saturdays 10am-2pm

Full STEAM Ahead

Special monthly programs for children combine Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Math. See Events Calendar and Library’s newsletter for details. Age groups vary by program.
