Adult Book Discussions

Join us for our Book Discussion Group at Red Land Community Library! With various themes and genres each month, our lively Book Discussion Group is ever-changing. All are welcome!

Friends of the Library

Join the friends of the library and help make your library the best place to be! For more information about our library’s Friends Group and what they do, visit the Friends of Red Land Community Library page, or our Red Land Friends website. New members always welcome. Meetings are on the 2nd Thursday of every month.

Local History Series

Ever wonder what your home would have looked like years ago? Or how our York County culture may have been different than it is today? Feel free to join us during one of our unique historical programs. Offered throughout the year, these programs are led by various instructors, with new themes each class. All are welcome!

Each February, Red Land Community Library is filled with the sights, smells, and delightful tastes of all things chocolate! Our annual Chocolatefest is a fun and exciting way to give thanks to the community of library visitors that have shown their continued support over the years. Not only will we be celebrating our community, but also Library Lover’s Month!

The event is held on the second Saturday of February from 11:00 am-1:00 pm. Although many people sign-up to bring home-made chocolate treats, we also offer chocolate fondue and chocolate coffee (with chocolate milk – Yum!).

Craft Domi-Nation

Let your creativity run free at our Craft Domi-nation nights! Join the teens of the Red Land Community Library to create your very own unique craft. Themes change every month. All are welcome!

For Kids

Little Yogis

A fun-filled Little Yogi class for our yogis 3-6 years old that blends yoga, play, dance, music and drama! Class includes variations on traditional yoga postures that help develop physical strength, flexibility, emotional calm and self-expressions while increasing their concentration, self-esteem and creativity.

Make-HER Space

Explore the world of science like you’ve never seen before! Girls ages 8-12 are welcome to join our Make-HER Space, where we offer a friendly, safe learning environment in subjects that girls often lose interest in through adolescence. In this welcoming group, girls will experience new topics every week through activities such as: science experiments, videos, nutrition, sewing, etc.
