The Dillsburg Area Public Library is proud to announce the line-up for its 2022 Summer Concert Series. All events will take place in the library’s Jordan Richardson Reading Garden, so bring a blanket or lawn chair. In the event of inclement weather, concerts will take place at the Calvary United Methodist Church’s Family Center, located across the street from the library at 203 Mumper Lane. All events are free of charge, but donations to support the series are greatly appreciated. Food trucks will be available, rain or shine.
Outside the Loft – Saturday, June 11 at 6:30pm
This trio performs acoustic versions of well-known songs from the Fifties to today. Outside the Loft is comprised of Van Hoffman, Beverly Spangler, and Mark Raubenstine.
Buc Hill Aces – Saturday, July 9 at 6:30pm
The Buc Hill Aces play Old Time Southern Appalachian music on fiddle, banjo, guitar, and bass. They are comprised of Patty Carson, Glenn Carson, Nancy Lockman, and Brian Lockman.
Tim Colgan – Saturday, August 13 at 6:30pm
Back for a second year after a memorable 2021 performance, Tim Colgan performs a blend of old and new favorites from Johnny Cash to Neil Young to the Lumineers.
Donna Foster – Saturday, September 10 at 6:00pm
Donna Foster is a Dillsburg native who plays folk, light rock, and gospel music on multiple instruments including guitar, piano, and harmonica.
The concert series, back for a second year, provides high quality entertainment in a lovely outdoor setting while continuing the library’s tradition of serving the community. Performers during the first series included Lampridae, Tim Colgan, Devon Beck, and Natalie Ness.
