All Aboard the Polar Express.

It’s a Christmas tradition with a twist here at the Dillsburg Public Library.

Our friendly volunteer, “Conductor” Fred Soulier, retired from his gig here at the library last Spring.  Fred had read The Polar Express for us every Christmas since 2016, and we always looked forward to the magic he brought as he read the story and talked with children afterwards.  We will miss him this year!

Luckily, after looking far and wide, we have found storyteller Beth Rebert willing to join us this year.  Beth has visited us before during our summer programs, and kids have loved watching her bring stories like Christina Katerina & the BOX alive.

Join us this year on December 4th at 6pm for a delightful presentation of The Polar Express.  We have room for 100 guests in our children’s room for the story, and we welcome all guests for holiday treats in the front room after the show.  Speaking of treats, we will also be treated to festive holiday music performed by the Dillsburg Brass.

Don’t forget to wear your comfiest pajamas.  They will help the story come alive!

It’s free. And it’s magic. ALL ABOARD! Here at the Dillsburg Public Library.
