I can fairly sum up Summer 2019 in one word: busy. We have seen all kinds of programs, from Ryan the Bug Man to an escape room to Cupcake Wars. Miss Sue and everyone here has been busy! We’ve also seen lots of kids reading for Summer Quest and hiking as a part of Go York! Lots of fun still left this summer and still time to catch the fun here at the library!
Not only are there a lot of programs going on here, we also are experiencing ongoing construction of the Jordan Richardson Reading Garden. We have seen our friends at Red Rock Landscaping and Gaffney Electric working hard to make the project possible. They have dug trenching and laid wiring throughout the summer heat. As of now, the Garden is still under construction, but we hope to see the project wrapped up in the coming weeks!
