Let me tell you a bit about one of our substitute volunteers, Emily Shermeyer. An active library user for over 18 years, Emily has been volunteering in varied capacities for almost ten years. Emily will work the Main Desk as needed but more often than not; she is leading an Art class (Zentangle, Silhouettes, Paper-beading, etc.). Our display case often features Emily’s talent, as well. Emily likes to help out the community through her library volunteering and really enjoys the people and the relaxed atmosphere. When Emily is not at Collinsville Library, she is with her family, crafting or learning about health/wellness. Her favorite Author is J.K. Rowling, the Bible tops her favorite book list.
